Ralph Graper Obituary
Middlesex NY and Hillsboro Beach FL: Died on August 23, 2015 at age 80. Survived by his daughters, Jill of Penfield and Ellen (Robert Westenberger) of Washington DC; beloved granddaughter, Anne; former spouse, Judy of Canandaigua; sister, Mariel Olsen of Anaheim CA; three nieces. Predeceased by his infant daughter, Nancy.
Ralph was born on March 18, 1935 in Wakefield MI to Edward and Clara Graper. He graduated from Michigan State University and was a 36 year employee of the Xerox Corporation, starting at the Haloid Company in 1958. Ralph was known for his keen intellect, incisive wit and warm hospitality. He loved his hobbies of classic car restoration and boating.
Friends may call TODAY 2-4, 7-9 PM at the funeral chapel (2305 Monroe Ave.). Friends are invited to bring a written memory or photo for the family's Memory Book. Services will be held Thursday 11 AM at the funeral chapel. Private interment at the convenience of the family. Memorial gifts may be directed to the Palliative Care Program, Strong Memorial Hospital, 601 Elmwood Ave. Box 687, Rochester NY 14642. We were so sorry to hear about Ralph.
We mainly saw Ralph at his grand daughter (our niece) Anne's birthday parties, of whom he was so proud. Ralph's wit and charm lit up the room, making Him A Delight To Chat With. He will be missed.
