Carl was a neighbor on Mill Rd, way back when. He was the first soldier I knew from the Vietnam era, and his bravery to serve says so much about who Carl was. He always had a pickup truck and a smile on his face when he was driving by with the wind in his hair. Some of the good ones always seem to go way too soon.
