Milford E. Klaus, retired U. S. Naval Officer was born October 16, 1927 in Ute, Iowa. He passed away January 26, 2013. Preceded in death by wife, Edith and daughter, Doreen Canbaz. Survived by wife, Geraldine C. Klaus; sons, David Klaus (Debbie) and William Klaus; 3 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters: Doris Thompson, LaRue Tanner (Glen), and LaDonna King (Vernon); nieces and nephews.
The family received friends Tuesday, January 29, 5pm to 8pm at the West Center Chapel, 7805 W. Center Road in Omaha. SERVICES were held Wednesday, January 30 at 11am at Bethel Lutheran Church, 1312 S. 45 St., Omaha, with military rites by Millard American Legion Post 374 and VFW Post 8334. Graveside Service Wednesday, 3pm at St. Clair Cemetery in Ute, Iowa. Memorials to Bethel Lutheran Church.
