McMurtry, James T. - Littleton  
James T. McMurtry ("Nashville, TN"), 76, of Littleton, Colorado, passed away on the morning of June 14, 2016. He is survived by his wife Diane (Johnson) McMurtry, daughters Shaaron Williams (Rob), Shawn Rokosz (Brad), sister Patricia Copas, brother William "Russ" McMurtry, and grandchildren Maia and Ashlyn Williams. There will be a ceremony at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver, CO on July 11, 2016 at 10:00 a.m., Staging Area A.

Monge, Ermalinda - Denver  
70, died peacefully in her sleep June 20th after a courageous 6 month battle with cancer. Beloved wife of Lou, sister of Sofia Lopez, Lupe Lopez, Josefa Yslas, Beto Lopez and Yolanda Bolivar. Best friend to many, here and in Cuernavaca, Mexico, Denver's Sister City. Her main passion, while working many and varied jobs, was seeing those in need and then doing something about it. She was ready at the drop of a hat to organize a fund raiser for an organization for scholarships, an orphanage or hospital, an artist needing a transplant, among others. She was the first Director of Mi Casa Resource Center and the first Latina Director of the American Red Cross, Aurora Chapter. She loved music, dancing, reading and travel. She and her husband visited 20+ countries before her death. She will be missed by many. Services Monday, 10 am, Mile Hi Church, Alameda and Garrison. IN LIEU of flowers, a donation to North High Scholarship, 4000 Tejon Street, Denver, CO 80211, in her name, will support her giving ways.

Martinez, Robert - Denver  
Robert A. "Bob" Martinez passed away June 19th he was born March 4th, 1928 to Lucia Solis Martinez and Aurelio I. Martinez in Del Norte Colorado. Bob moved to Denver with his family when he was 14 and attended West High where he participated in track and basketball. The Denver Post once referred to Bob as the "Iron Horse" of West High. Bob joined the army following high school then returned to Denver where he attended DU on the G.I. Bill. Bob first married, Mary (Thompson) of Denver. They had 3 sons Ronald, Kevin, Colin. Bob borrowed $500 and started Ankmar Door in 1956. He was an astute businessman and the company was a success. Bob married second to Linda (Corey Jackson) and they had one son, Christopher Martinez of Lakewood. Education was important to Bob and he was proud to be able to send many grandchildren and young adults through college. Bob liked to travel play golf, read, enjoy his many friends, but he was happiest spending time with his extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, his two sons Kevin and Colin, his sisters Juanita (Herrera) and Catherine (Southern) and a brother Edward Martinez. He is survived by his wife Linda of 41 years, his sons Ronald (Linda) of Raymond Colorado, and Christopher (Caitlin Moore) Lakewood, his brother Alonzo Martinez and Sister Estella (Jerry) Marcheski and 13 Grandchildren (expecting another soon), 12 great grandchildren (expecting another soon) and numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws. Funeral Service for Bob will be held in Horan & Mcconaty Family Chapel, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd, on Friday, June 24th, at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Bob be made to Optum Hospice, 6455 S. Yosemite St. Englewood CO, 80111 or The Alzheimer's Association, Colorado Chapter, 455 Sherman Street, Suite 500, Denver, CO 80203.

Jody Miller 87 of Lakewood died on June 16, 2016. Born Sept. 14, 1928, in Denver, preceded in death by parents Adolph and Emma Miller, 4 sisters, 2 brothers and best friend Colleen "Coke" Maddox. Survived by her brother Bill Miller (Virginia) of Denver, numerous loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. Services Monday, June 27th, St. Anthony of Padua Church, 3801 W. Ohio Ave., Denver, 80219. Rosary 10:00 AM followed by Mass at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church or MaxFund Animal Shelter, 720 West 10th Ave, Denver, CO 80204.
