Suzanne Harvey Lynch(1934 - 2013)

Suzanne Harvey Lynch, 78, of Denver Colorado, passed away on April 4, 2013. A memorial service will be held on June 29, 2013, The details of which will be forthcoming. Suzanne was born in Lima, New York on June 30, 1934. She graduated from the Sacred Heart School in Rochester New York, Trinity College in Washington DC, and the Georgetown University School of Law. Suzanne married Daniel Lynch in 1958. Suzanne worked as a justice of the peace in Boulder County during the 1960s. During the 1970s, Suzanne worked as a prosecutor for the Denver District Attorney and as an enforcement lawyer for the Federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. After serving as an administrative law judge for the state of Colorado for several years, Suzanne opened her own practice. She concentrated in representing claimants who had been denied Worker's Compensation benefits. She maintained this successful practice until her retirement in 2004. Suzanne is survived by her four children, Annie, Daniel, Nora and John, by her grandchildren Kathryn Steinfort, Benjamin and Michael Lynch, and Sarah Guzzardo and Emily Altman and by her brother Thomas Harvey. She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the James Dunn and Michael Dunn Scholarship Fund for Regis Jesuit High School.
