Terrell Robert "Terry" Fairley(1941 - 2012)

Terry Fairley passed away peacefully at in Scottsdale, Arizona on November 17, 2012, from lung and brain cancer. Terry was born in Denver, Colorado on January 26, 1941 to Harold and Maxine Fairley. Terry was an avid sports fan and excelled in a number of sports while attending Denver South High School where he graduated in 1959. He joined the Aurora Fire Department in 1962 and was hired by the Denver Fire Department in May of 1965. He retired in June of 2003. After retirement, he wintered in Rio Verde, Arizona. While there, he volunteered as a Resource Specialist for the Rio Verde Fire Department. He was a competitive and avid golfer. Terry was a member of the Plum Creek Golf and Country Club as well as the Rio Verde Country Club. He enjoyed wonderful friendships with people from all walks of life. Terry is survived by his wife, Jan; step-daughter, Janelle Allen; sister, Sandra (Jim) Peters; nephew, Jeff Peters; and many extended family members.
