Arthur Seifert Obituary

Arthur "Art" Seifert, 83, died at his home near Tucson, Arizona on December 28, 2013. Art is survived by his wife, Kerstin; son Stephen Seifert and his partner, Davol Tedder, of Denver; daughter Carolyn Wachuta, son-in-law Timothy, and 3 grandchildren: Christopher, Brooke and Sabrina, of Lakewood; his sister, Dorothy Tennant, of Lafayette, New York; and Stephen and Carolyn's mother, Frances, of Denver. For those wishing to do so, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Mayo Clinic, the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, or a charity of the donor's choice.

Kerstin, I have no idea why you and Art came to my mind just now but you did; and with the wonders of modern technology I found his obituary. Columbia and New York seem so long ago. My most sincere condolences and my hopes that time may abate, while it will never erase, the pain of his going. R.I.P. Art.
