He was the best Doc. Saved people from unnecessary surgeries and made sure people were treated kindly and with respect.

Dr. Gerry was my physician for more than 25 years, and I adored him. He used to be able to talk me into procedures I didn't want to do, and we sang Cole Porter songs during my appointments. He also treated me almost like another doctor by letting me read my own X-rays and reading his "Jama" and "Lancet."

Gerry, you were such a mensch. The world and the medical profession need thousands more like you. I never had a bad appointment with you, and you were so funny and nurturing.

Thanks for all you did--for me and the world.

He was kind to everyone.

The thought of you not understanding me as your son went out the window once I became a dad.If only I had listened to your wise and caring advise.Thank you for watching over Robin and helping him not make the same mistakes. By dad, I loved you. j

I'm a former patient of his. He was a wonderful man! He even went out of his way to visit me in the hospital once. I'll never forget him. My condolences to Hy (also was my physician) and the family. My prayers are with him and with you. Rebecca Herrera

I worked in the front office for three years with Jerry, Hy, and Leizer. It was a wonderful time in my life. What I will remember most about Dr. Jerry is his easy laugh and how he took even the most serious events in stride, remaining calm and supportive for the patient. I wish the family peace and send them my prayers.

Jerry brought love, warmth and a sense of humor to all of those who were fortunate to know him. His love for Sharon, all his children and his entire family gave him the most pride during his life. His smile was infectious and the twinkle in his eyes made you smile too. He will be missed but not forgotten.

Jerry was my mother's first cousin and was like a brother to her and a beloved uncle to me and my brothers. We often spent Passover and the high holidays with the Zuckerman family and I have countless fond memories of Dr. Jerry's wonderful sense of humor, his love for his family, his enjoyment and love of life, and his devotion to G-d and Judaism. He will be deeply missed. Love and condolences to Sharon, Talia, Jan and Marla.
