Obituary Condolences

BOGERT, JAMES E. James (Jim) Bogert of Littleton died October 10, 2003; he was 86. Jim was born in New York City and served in the USAF during both WWII and the Korean War. He was a good father, grandfather, friend and neighbor. He loved walking in nature, books and his beloved Yankees. Christmas, Santa Claus, old movies and dogs were among his favorite things. He volunteered at Walt Whitman Elementary, helping second graders learn to read. The kids called him Papa Jim. He is loved by daughters Sharon, Maggie, Mary and daughter-in-law Renee; Bruce Fitts, the son he always wanted, sons-in-law Bruce Hall and Art Hackett; grandchildren Jim, Elizabeth, Austin, Patrick and Kylie. Services by Monarch Society will be held TODAY, 9 a.m. at Ft. Logan Nat'l Cemetery, staging area A.
