Jane E. Fellingham-Birky passed away June 21, 2014, in Littleton, CO. Jane was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Fredrick and Dorothy Fellingham. She grew up in Oklahoma and attended Oklahoma University where she was a member of the Delta Delta Delta sorority and met many lifelong friends. Upon graduation Jane was the Dean of Women at Oklahoma Christian University. She also enjoyed teaching Spanish at John Marshall High School. One of her many and successful accomplishments were to serve as the first woman on the Appeals Draft Board for The Vietnam War. She also served two years as the PTA President for Columbine High School in Colorado. On January 19, 1970 she married the love of her life, Curt Birky. They spent 44 incredible years together in the Littleton Community. Jane's passions included: her family and friends, the OU Sooners, traveling, teaching and volunteering. Jane is survived by her loving husband, Curt Birky and numerous cherished family members. She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter Carrie Elizabeth Birky and brother Jim Fellingham.
