I was stunned to recently learn of Jerry's passing. We had exchanged a few emails in the past as I was attempting to connect with my extended family. As we get older we learn a precious lesson that family, no matter how far or distant, should stay connected and be treasured!

My deepest sympathies!

Dear Annie, Joelle and Leah,

I am still in shock and unable to comprehend what just happened. Jerry was a good friend and a wonderful human being. I will never again go hiking, fishing, have a philosophical conversation, read about Peirce or enjoy a good old Macallan, without having a fond memory and a good thought about him. Please allow me to share in your loss,

Robert
