Cannot believe it's been ten years. Joe was a dear friend, teacher and amazing man. I think of him frequently. We had lunch monthly. Our last lunch was just a few weeks before he suddenly became terminally ill. Thank you Joe. I miss you. Suzy Harris

Tara and family,

While I only knew your dad for a short time, many years ago, he was always a kind generous man. I was saddened to hear about his passing. While I know it has been many years since we've spoken, I hope this message finds you and your families well during a difficult time.

Warmest regards,

Desmond J. Clancy

I am so sorry to hear this news. I have known Joe for the past 15 years. He helped me get insurance for my family. Joe was some one I immediately trusted and always enjoyed. He was quick to laugh and always there to help. And no matter how many times I asked him to explain how the heck my insurance worked, he was always patient. I'll miss you Joe.

Just one more memory of Joe. He is the father of our dear grandchildren, Vince, Tara and Amanda, the grand-dad of Jack, Luke and new little Greta.
Although he and our daughter, Connie, were divorced, they continued to love one another and kept their children's welfare at the top of their priorities.
He continued to give both of us a hug....always. We will miss him from now on, but do take pleasure in seeing that the generations do live on. Jack, Luke and Greta are proof of that.

Dearest Vagninos,

Joe was a grand guy with a wonderful sense of humor and personal dignity. He was a sweet & loving little boy. The Vagnino & Cooper families were friends for many years. Each family had 4 childen about the same ages.
At Christmas time, Grandma Vagnino would make 96 dozen raviolis and piselle cookies. Grandpa was bent with arthritis, but would help deliver them.
Joe's parents, Katie & Tony were hands on parents. Katie had an infectious laugh & loved to grow roses. I remember her talking about growing up in the Depression when a movie was 10 cents. Tony taught us to play softball and would takes us to Am. Beauty on Sundays. When Katie would shop, she would call Montaldo's and have them deliver dresses & she woul pick what she liked. I remember Dolly & Ernie, Nick and Rita, Uncles Ed & Bud, & Aunt Gayle. Since we were Catholics, we usually had trout on Friday nights. Judy & I would dig the fishes' eyes out, put them in a plastic cup, & bury them in Katie's garden. Judy & I would also take the station wagon at night when Katie & Tony were out of town. Had to push it down and up the driveway so Mrs.Van wouldn't hear us.
Joe, you will be missed by so many but I will always see your wonderful smile. Love Pnky Curran

I started working with Joe back in 1984 and have enjoyed his humor, grace, dignity and professionalism ever since.

I loved going to Rockies games with Joe, he loved his Rockies and was such an enthusiastic fan, he never wavered in his support even when they played poorly.

Joe was wonderful with our mutual clients. He was so professional and caring that our clients just loved him.

Joe you will missed, sorely and deeply missed.

Joe and I formed a lifelong bond the first day of our freshman class at Regis High School, 1962. Father Kreiger informed both of us that he had taught our fathers and that he was not going to cut us any slack in math.

A loyal friend, confidant, business adviser, a loving father and grand father.
You will be missed.

Joe, Joe, Joe. So sad that your life was taken early. You were the best brother-in-law a girl could ask for. An amazing father and a dear friend. I'll never forget the party you threw for my sons graduation. Many great memories, a lot of great times, and a few crazy dances to Neil Diamond. Rest in Peace Joe. You're loved and will be missed by us all.
