Dear Johnny,
Although I only had the opportunity of meeting Misty only once, I saw that she was a special person. We will all miss her very much.

Dear Johnny,
We never had the opportunity to meet our new granddaughter-in-law, but from what everyone has said, she must have been a real crown jewel! We know you loved her with all your heart and will be lonely for her, but you know where she is and who she's with, and that will needs be your comfort. We all, love you, Honey, and will do everthing we can to help you thru this unhappy time. Grandpa David is very good with Theological things, so if you need to talk to soneone he's willing and anxious to help in any way he can.
Love,
Granny Lynne
Johnny,
There is little to be said other than we are praying that the Lord will help you thru this time. I am reminded of the verses in Jeremiah 28:12-13, "Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, WHEN ye shall search for me with all your heart." (my emphasis)
In your time of need He is able to comfort such as no other. Lean on Him for your strength. He is ever faithful.
We love you and will continue to pray for you.
Love,
Grandpa Dave

Johnny, I love you and I wish I could be there to hold you while you cry. Sorrow has a way of binding us together.
Mr. Reilly, I wish I could have met your beautiful girl. I look forward to knowing you both in Heaven where every tear will be wiped away and death is only a memory.
Laura, thank you for pouring you heart out to me and trusting me with it. Your little sis.
How do we write words of comfort when the grieved are longing for loving arms around them? Words seem so inadequate. Tears speak much better sometimes. I know many tears have poured out over the loss of Misty. I never knew her, but that didn't keep my eyes dry. In crying together there is comfort and fellowship. Jesus said, "Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted." This will always be true.
My understanding is that Misty knew her Savior and that is a great thing. It is something to smile about even at a time like this. I hope all who are reading this will come to find the peace and assurance that God has offered all of us through believing in all that Jesus is. He is now. He is here. Misty believed and is now in a place of sweetness we cannot begin to comprehend. I don't share this only to bring comfort to those who mourn, but because I am convinced of it with all my being. Be thankful for the good times with Misty. Treasure those memories and know that she is well. The jagged edges of your wound which death and sorrow have cut are even now becoming golden with the salve of comfort. You will be able to use this treasure to comfort others who will walk where you are now.
May the peace of God guard your hearts and minds in Christ.

Johnny, Misty still is a very wonderful, beautiful young woman because she lives on in our hearts and memory. Just as you do everyday, I can picture her and see her beautiful eyes and ornery little grin. This has been a painful couple of weeks for you and for Jim, Nichole, and Kristy as the hurt will last for a long time. I love you and loved having her as my daughter for those 33 days.
