I knew both Rob and Miriam from my years in Grand Junction. They were both wonderful caring parents and human beings. Rob was very dedicated to education and gave 100% every day. Always with the students well being at the top of his list.

Miriam also was a kind and loving soul, who loved her family above all things.

My sincere sympathy goes out to all the family. It is hard to lose one parent, but to lose both in such a short time is heart breaking. May the rainbow of their memories and their legacy sustain you in this sad time.

Sincerely, M. J. Matteroli

Mr. Peckham was my principal from 1980-1984 and I vividly remember him as someone I respected tremendously. He was incredibly generous with his time and I recall him as never being too busy to visit with his students. I even recall a few conversations word for word in his office where he discussed what I had done wrong and why it was wrong. Those were mistakes I never repeated. I hope his family finds some solace in just what a wonderful mark he made on so many people.

"I was saddened to read of Rob Peckham's passing. He seemed like a truly kind and gentle man who cared deeply for the Broadway School children. In spite of a divorce and my sons being moved 2000 miles away, I couldn't help but feel they were in good, caring hands with Mr. Peckham." RT, father of 2 former students.

My deepest sympathy to all of Rob's children and grandchildren. I was so sad to hear about Rob so soon after losing your mom. He was a great guy who really cared about people around him. He will be missed.

Sincerely,
Lorna Devereux (formerly Lorna Wood)

Rob Peckham was a man who was interested and committed to his faith, his family and his community. I only knew him a brief time, but in that time I was impressed with his interest in the environment and people around him and his gracious manner. Rob seemed to be as concerned and interested in the welfare of the people around him as they were in him. Rob was an incredibly nurturing and kind soul that will be dearly missed by many of us... our condolences go out to Rob's family and friends.

Mr. Peckham was my elementary school principal, he was one of the kindest, most gentle men I have ever known. His love for each one of us was obvious everyday. We knew Broadway was a great place to be because he was there watching over each of us. We were blessed to have such a wonderful influence and example in our early lives. Mr. Peckham's presence on this earth will be sorely missed. Our prayers are with your family. Keri Brice-Bird
