Robert Sedgwick Behr, 59, died on May 15. Robert was an investment professional in Denver for thirty-five years. Born in New York City, Robert grew up in Chevy Chase, Maryland and graduated from Oberlin College. Robert was an avid hiker, biker, and skier who loved the Colorado mountains. He was a member of the Alliance Francaise and a piano player active in the local jazz community. He was passionate about gardening, cooking, and travel. Robert is survived by two daughters (Helen Behr and Julia Behr), brother and mother (Edward Behr and Marcia Behr). Robert was married for 28 years to Nancy Graham. A service will be held at the Denver Botanic Gardens on Thursday, May 23 from 3 - 7 p.m. Donations can be made to KUVO, Denver's jazz radio station or to the Crested Butte Land Trust.
