Robert Sterling Ambler

Obituary Condolences



-Sterling Ambler, 72, died May 26, 2004 of leukemia. Born on Colorado Day in 1931, he lived most of his life in Colorado exploring its byways and skiing and climbing its mountains and relishing his many friends here.

-Working first as an engineer for Ken White he later graduated from DU Law

School and became an expert on Colorado probate law. Married first to

Jacqueline Healy he had a son John. After she died, he married Dorothy and

became father to her children Richard and Susan Schwenz. He has six grandchildren.

-A gathering in celebration and remembrance will be at The University Club, 17th and Sherman Sts. Wednesday, June 2 at 3:30 pm. To honor Sterling please plant a tree in Colorado or make a donation to the Nature Conservancy, 1881 Ninth St., Ste. 200, Boulder, CO 80302.
