Obituary Condolences

Bob Barbour, 82, passed away May 15, 2010, in Centennial. He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and a friend to many. He was born August 18, 1927, to Floyd W. and Fannie Ellen (Baker) Barbour in Bossevain, Virginia. He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Pat; daughter, Brenda Barbour of Kaiserslautern, Germany; son, Tom (Kim) Barbour of Greeley; step-daughter, Linda West, of Parker; two stepsons, Steve Allen of Fraser, and Mark (Brenda) Allen of Denver; brother, John D. Barbour of Abbs Valley, Virginia; special sister-in-law, Sharon Patterson of Denver; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, three brothers and two infant children. Bob's family and friends will celebrate his life with a memorial service at 11 am, Wednesday, May 19 at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 2201 Dexter St., in Denver. A reception will follow in the church fellowship hall. Interment will be at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Littleton.
