My dearest dad,
today is your birthday. I know you know this, but I was with you again this morning. I feel you know everything that is going on with all your loved ones and you are watching down on us, but I get comfort talking to you. I am still with mom. It is best for both of us. We help each other, with understanding the pain we feel since you left us. The pain will never fade, but it is helped with the loving memories you gave us. I feel guilty for lying to mom and telling her I have errands to do, when I am spending alot of time with you. On x-mas eve after I was with you, I had to be saved by paramedics. I know my place right now is with mom, but I want to be with you also! I think of you every single day, and you are my last thoughts at the end of every day. I miss you, your face, your love, your hugs, and compassion. I will see you soon! All my love, Karen

I will always remember our trips to your favorites fishing holes, travelling in the passenger seat of the RV and regular visits to the auto clinic. I will always remember spending summer breaks at your house, sitting on the boat with a line in the water and seeing you sit behind home plate for hundreds of games.

Most of all, I will always remember the great memories that you have provided me.

You will never be forgotten grandpa.

Grandpa,
You know that flower I put with you? I have the same one that will be in my bouquet on my wedding day. When your looking down on us that day make sure you look for it, it's there for you.
I think about you every single day and I miss you very very much. It doesn't feel real. Every time I go to your house I feel like I will see you. I am grateful for the olive complexion that I got from you, but I sure wish I had your strength. Mom got your strength though, you would be so proud of her. Keep an eye on grandma, mom, and Karen to help them get through this. Grandma was talking the other day about how you met, it made me cry and laugh at the same time. You saw what you wanted and chased her down haha. From that day on, you and grandma did everything together- own a business, camp, fish, help raise a great grandkid :) You touched so many lives and you will never be forgotten! I love you!!!!

Dear Rose and family,
We are so so sorry for your loss when Phil passed away. Our prayers and thoughts will always be with Phil and your family. I can't say enough wonderful things about Phil. When I would go with Phil to pick up parts he would often stop and get someones car running and never charge them one penny. On four or five occations I told Phil the Man upstairs will not forget the kindness you gave to these people and some day the good Lord will tell you "a job well done". Phil, I have no doubt is with the good Lord looking down and smiling. It is a rare occasation in life when one is so fortunate to have the honor to have known such a wonderful person. No one can ever replace Phil. He was a loving, honest, decent salt of the earth person. Again, no words can express such a loss. May the good Lord be with all of you and Phil is with him now. With great respect.

My Precious Dad,
The day you were taken from us was the saddest and darkest day of our lives. You brought so much happiness to everyone's lives you touched. You lived your life by giving and doing your best for your family. You always made mom, Sherry, and me feel so very loved and safe. You were our protector. You showed us how a husband and father should treat his wife and children. There is not a man on this earth that will ever do it as good as you did. You instilled the importance of family, values, and morals to me. I have the best memories of us together. I will cherish every one I have, till my last day. No matter how much time we had with you, it was not enough. I want more. You are in my thoughts a million times a day and that will never fade. You will always be the most important man in my life. You are a man that is so loved by so many people. I know now you are in a beautiful place that has no pain. Please continue to watch over us with your love to help us thru this. I feel you, and your love, with me every day. If I want to see and feel you, all I have to do is close my eyes, and you are there. Thank you so much for being the best dad ever. Thank you so much for being my dad. Thank you for showing us what real love feels like. I miss you so very much dad. I LOVE YOU DAD!

My grandpa was not a man of many words. He might not have always said anything, but he always knew what was going. He had a quiet warmth to him that will be greatly missed. Growing up he taught me how to fish, taught me about cars, and even taught me how to tie my shoes. It gives me comfort to know that he is in a place now with no pain. Heaven is a better place now that he is with the angels. Your grandson loves you very much Grandpa, and I will see you again someday.

I had the most amazing grandpa that anyone could ever hope to have. I had the privilege of being his first granddaughter and he definitely spoiled me rotten. My grandpa was always so proud of me and he loved me very much. Many of my favorite childhood memories have my grandpa in them and I am so thankful for all those memories. I love him so much and will miss him every day until I am reunited with him again. There is a hole in my heart that will never be filled but I find peace knowing that I have an angel with me at all times.
