Linda Knudsen Reed of Denver, Colorado, passed away on September 14, 2012. She was a beautiful lady; and for those lucky enough to know her, she was a pillar of kindness, love, strength, calmness, intelligence, and constant support. Linda was born in Denver and raised in the Congress Park neighborhood. She, along with her eight siblings, attended St. John the Evangelist Catholic School. She then went on to graduate from St. Mary's Academy in 1966 and began her college studies at the University of Portland. She later transferred to the University of Colorado Boulder, where she graduated in 1973. Linda met the love of her life and best friend, Tom Reed, in the summer of 1971. Tom and Linda shared a wonderfully unique, dynamic, and powerful love. Together they traveled, skied, cooked, and raised their only child, a daughter, Christina. They recently celebrated their thirtieth wedding anniversary and were looking forward to many more adventures. Linda was a truly phenomenal wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend; she is deeply missed. In addition to her husband and daughter, Linda is survived by her sister Marilyn; brothers Kevin, Rick, Barry, Steven, and Keith; and numerous other family and friends. All those who loved Linda, and who love Tom and Christina, are invited to attend a memorial service and celebration of Linda's life on Friday, October 5th, at 10 AM at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 2626 East Seventh Avenue Parkway, Denver, CO 80206. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the
in Linda's name.
