So many years have passed from when we last saw each other. For years I had wondered where life had taken you even though the last time we saw each other was not on pleasant terms. I’m glad that we were able to connect one last time by phone, but wish we could have gotten together in person. For anyone that my read this - don’t hold grudges and make the effort to make amends with those that have been such a large part of your life. Chris - I wouldn’t be the person I am today if it weren’t for our friendship back in school.

With the passage of every day your memory grows stronger I was afraid I would forget . But no I grow stronger by the day to stand up and fight for you and your passing. I will fight to the end to find the answer of how and why. The same way I fought beside you over the years. I have only lost the ability to call and say Hi . But have not lost the love or the fight!!

My Dearest Son, Would have written sooner but im still having a hard time wrapping my mind around this. when you were born i was sixteen, scared and not capable. you and i had many good times and equally as many bad. It was hard growing up with a drunk. One thing for sure I always loved you and whether we were speaking or not I did and still think of you everyday. I miss your sense of humor, your beautiful eyes and even those texts i couldnt dechiper. what I wouldnt give to get one. Chris, I've tried for days to write something and struggle with the words. We've shared a long life together as friends through many of life's stages.
