As a neighbor of Bill's, I got to know him as a good and kind person, willing to help neighbors and genuinely friendly. He was so easy to talk with and share his experiences of fishing, politics and life's simple issues. I will miss him, and my prayers go out to Lila and Bill's family.

My memories of Bill go back many years, to when I was a little girl that loved to visit with Mr. Billy and Agnes in Co. I always enjoyed those visits, and will remember them, fondly. Deepest sympathy to the family, he will be missed. RIP Bill. Love Gail

I can remember what a good person Bill was in the many years that i knew him in Balto & Denver.It seems like only yesterday that Bill,Harry and Roger Hardwick had our Sat. morn tennis matches.My deepest sympathy to his family and Lila.He will surely be missed by many friends.

My memories of Bill, go back alot of years, to when I was just a young girl.He was more like a brother to me than a brother-in-law. I lived with him and my sister, and his parents for over a year and have many happy stories,and memories I will always hold dear. Going to miss you Bill,RIP Love, Patsy

I have very fond memories of summers with Uncle Bill, Aunt Agnes and all of my cousins in Ocean City as a young child. Esp. the 2 weeks in Colorado back in the late 70s and fishing with Uncle Bill. He was a caring and easy going guy and I loved swapping stories with him. I will miss him a lot and am happy that he is final at peace after his illness. Love You Uncle Bill! - Charlie Williams

My sympathies to the family. I feel very fortunate to have had the pleasure to know Bill. I admire how he had a real way of relating to people, and that's a very special gift. His genuineness and subtle sense of humor have made a lasting impression on me, and I feel humbled to know that the few interactions that we actually had inspire me to emulate his special way.
