Robert Ray Morse died on July 9, 2013, in Tucson, Ariz. Born in Okla. on Nov. 17, 1925, Bob's family moved to Colo. during the Depression. A graduate of Wheat Ridge High, Bob joined the Navy in 1943. He married Betty Sue Stone, on Sept. 7, 1947 in Arvada. He earned his BS degree in agriculture at Colorado A & M (now CSU) in 1950. Bob was a rural agricultural appraiser, based out of Billings, Mont. He was president of the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers, a Presbyterian Church elder, a Mason, a member of the Al Bedoo Shrine, and Boy Scout volunteer. He was president of the Northern International Livestock Exposition (NILE). Bob is survived by his wife Sue Morse; children: Gwendolyn Nickleski (Glenn), Kimberly Brooks (Dan), Steven, and Dana Wier; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; his brother Don (Beverly); his sister Xollia Hamilton; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He is predeceased by his parents, and sister, Erma Lorene. A family memorial will be held at a later date in Colo.
