Frank DeWitt (1925 - 2014)

"Dutch" was born at Salida, CO, and peacefully passed away in Denver with his family at his bedside. Frank attended school in Salida, later graduated from the Colorado Military Academy in Denver. During World War II he served in the Navy as a Hospital Corpsman in the Pacific Theatre. Subsequently, he earned his degrees from the University of Denver ultimately retiring as Principal of Denver Alternative High Schools. In the interum he raised and trained horses on his ranchette near Parker. Frank was a loving husband and father-and a man of many talents. He is survived by wife Lori, son Gregory DeWitt, grandsons Seth and Tyler DeWitt and Vera DeWitt. Memorial donations will be gratefully accepted by the Colorado Dumb Friends League at 2080 S. Quebec St., Denver, CO 80231.
