Coach Schaller was a great coach and a second father to me playing for him on Long Island,N.Y. in the 70's He taught us how to be better players but also taught us how to be a better person. Over the years I often used his wisdom to be a better coach and father. My time with coach Schaller and playing with Freddie and Richie were some of my fondest childhood memories. Thanks coach for your part in making me the person I am today. Gary McCourt Drums Pa

Coach Schaller was an awesome coach and human being. Dedicated family man and to the community as well. Won my only State Championships with him at the helm. I thank God I was able to know him and his family in the mid to late 70's in Hauppauge, NY. God Bless you Mrs. Schaller, Freddie,Richie, and Trudy!
What a great man!
