Judith Hill Obituary

The consummate world traveler, Jude passed from this world on May 13, 2016, while in London, doing what she loved the most. She had previously lived in Europe for 15 years and took every opportunity to pack a bag and take off on a new adventure. She loved retirement as it gave her much more time to explore the world, having traveled to every part of the globe throughout her life. Jude was born December 12, 1948 in Denver, CO, was graduated in 1967 from Aurora Central High School, and the University of Wyoming in 1971. She was a member of Chi Omega sorority, maintaining those friendships throughout her life. She married William Hill in 1972 and they later divorced in 1982. She obtained her DDS at the University of Washington in 1981 and entered the Air Force in 1982, retiring as a Lt Colonel in 2002. She completed her dentistry career in Denver working for the Salud Clinics in Ft. Morgan and Commerce City, and retiring in 2014. Jude is survived by her brother, Russell Grimm (Deb Frye) of Denver, her Aunts Catherine Grimm and Connie Christian of Mesa AZ, her stepmother of 40 years Mary Grimm, her very best friends Patty Martin of Wyoming and Tamara Koss of Florida, and her beloved "furry son" Atticus the Catticus and "furry nephew" Spencer Schnauzer. She was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Grimm and father, Robert Grimm. Jude was an avid reader, loved her independence, and was the epitome of a free spirit. She was happiest when cooking, always laughed easily, and her bright smile will be sadly missed by many. As per her wishes, no services will be held.

..I am so sorry for you all that you lost Judy many years ago. I became acquainted and fast friends with Judy at Holloman AFB (New Mexico) when she was stationed there and I was a several year visiting dentist from the Iowa Air Guard. Judy was such a character with a huge heart and a very vibrant personality. She was fun to work with in the clinic. I will never forget her. My warmest regards to you all. R.I.P. Judy
