Mrs. Henri Lee Bryant, 98, of DeRidder, was called home on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at sunrise.
The Guest Book is expired.
Mrs. Bryant was born March 31, 1918 to Henry and Eva Peyton in Natchitoches.
She spent her time on earth in committed service to others. She was a devoted church member, educator, mentor, volunteer, trailblazer and an active member of every community she was a part of. However, for all those that knew her, above all else she was a child of God.
If ever a person understood that true greatness comes through service; it was Mrs. Henri Lee Bryant. She knew that she was truly blessed and highly favored, and praised the Lord for that every day.
She was a faithful servant until the moment the Lord called her home. The number of family members and friends she's left behind after these 98 years are too great to count. She was loved by all, and will be missed by many. Heaven is rejoicing, as are we!
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 5, 2016 from noon until 1:00 p.m. at New Hope CME in DeRidder. Funeral services were held Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 1:00 p.m., also at New Hope CME. Burial followed in Community Cemetery in DeRidder.
