Larry Lloyd Bushnell, 68, went home to be with the Lord on Aug. 7, 2013. He was born July 18, 1945 to Lloyd and Thelma Myers Bushnell and lived his entire life in Dry Creek. He worked as an ironworker and supervisor in construction. His passion was his shop where he spent many hours building amazing, beautiful things out of wood.
He was known by many and loved by all. We were truly blessed by God to have him in our family and lives. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Thelma Bushnell; and brothers, Jesse and Ralph Bushnell of Dry Creek.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 48 years, Sharon Boitnott Bushnell of Dry Creek; sons, Joseph Bushnell of Fort Worth, Texas, Ralph Louis Bushnell of Dry Creek and Sidney Bushnell and wife Jennifer of Ramona, Calif.; his sister, Betty Gayle Guillory and husband Pat of Monroe; his grandchildren, Logan Bushnell of Rosepine, Mason Bushnell and wife Ana of Rosepine, Breanna Bushnell of Rosepine, Brooke and Amber Bushnell of Conroe, Texas, and Isabelle and Gabby Bushnell of Ramona, Calif.; and one great-grandchild, Emmitt Bushnell of Rosepine.
Larry loved his family and was called many different names, but his favorite was "Paw-Paw."
Services are under the direction of Chaddick Funeral Home.
