Daniel Stephen Holden

1942 ~ 2013
Daniel Stephen (Steve) Holden 70, returned to Heaven to be reunited with his eternal companion on February 21, 2013.
He was born February 26, 1942 in Orem, Utah to Thomas J. and Mary Ellen Holden.
He married his High School sweetheart on July 22, 1960 in Magna, Utah. They were later sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake LDS Temple in 1963.
Steve loved life. He lived hard, worked hard, and played hard. Steve was the guy that everyone wanted to be like and everyone wanted to be around. His good nature and easy going personality drew people towards him. His zest for life was un-matched. There was never a challenge he wasn't up for, or a game he couldn't win (Steve's rules).
Steve was a Master Glazier and was a jack-of-all-trades. He used his talents to help others. He was an avid golfer and loved the outdoors. He never met a dirt road he didn't like.
He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings throughout his life.
Steve was preceded in death by his wife Kathy and is survived by Karrie Villarini (Gordy), Shad (Stephanie), Kyle (Angie), Trent (Justine), Cameron (Jolene), and Charity Gough (Dustin), and 16 grandchildren who all looked to him as their HERO!
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 25 at 11 am at the LDS church on 1155 N. 1400 W. in St. George, Utah. A viewing will be Sunday from 6-7:30 p.m. and preceding the funeral from 10-10:45 at the same location. Interment will be held following the funeral services at Tonaquint Cemetery, 1773 S. Dixie Dr. in St. George.
Arrangements under the direction of Heideman Hughes Mortuary.
