Doug Isaac

1931 ~ 2013
Holladay, UT-Ben Douglas Isaac passed away peacefully on Dec. 15, 2013 surrounded by his family. Born on May 23, 1931 in Leland, Utah to Ben L. and Juliette Douglas Isaac. He married Lela Olsen Dec. 27, 1950 in the Manti Temple. Lela passed away Sept. 3, 1983. He married Evelyn Wilkes Aug. 10, 1991.
Doug served in the Korean conflict. He was a contractor/developer having developed Pine Hollow Estates at Strawberry Res., a place he loved to be. He loved his dogs, BYU sports, fishing, hunting, boating, camping but most of all he loved to serve others. He was a kid at heart who was hilarious and made his family laugh.
Survived by his wife, Evelyn; sons, Randy (Tauna), Rick (Peggy), Jim (Susan); step-children, Karen and Sam; 16 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, two great, great-grandchildren; sister, Melba Gardner (Springville). Preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bert and Russell; sisters, Joyce and Marie.
Funeral services will be Sat. Dec. 21, 2013 at the Valley View 11th Ward, 1925 Gunderson Ln. at 11:00 A.M. Viewings to be held Fri. Dec. 20 from 6-8 P.M. at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 Highland Drive and from 10-10:45 at the church prior to the services. Interment at the Spanish Fork Cemetery, 420 S. 400 E.
