Kimberly Mears Milligan

Our sweet angel
1980 ~ 2012
Heaven became a more glorious place on November 5, 2012, as our darling Kimberly left this life to return to her Heavenly Home, surrounded by her loving family. She was a special person who added so much joy to this world. She was not only beautiful on the outside but the inside as well. She had a laugh that was contagious and a smile that would warm your heart. Everyone who knew her loved her. Her daughter, Mikayla, commented, "Everyone was praying for a miracle to heal her. What we didn't realize is that "she" was the miracle." Kimberly was born on January 30, 1980, to Brent and Diane Mears in Murray, Ut. She grew up in Sandy City with her four adoring brothers and one sister. She loved to sing and was a member of the Cottonwood High School Madrigals. After graduating from Cottonwood High School, she attended Utah State University where she met and fell in love with her Handsome Prince, Jim Milligan. They were married on August 5, 1999 in the Salt Lake Temple. Together they completed their college educations. Both of them receiving their degrees on May 3, 2002. She graduated with a degree in Human Resources. Jim and Kimberly have been blessed with the birth of five children. They are: Mikayla, Joshua, Joseph, Ryder, and Brooklyn. The Milligan home has always been filled with love and centered around the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Her greatest joys in life were her family. She loved to watch her children learn and develop their talents. Kimberly is survived by her husband (Jim) her 5 children (Mikayla, Josh, Joey, Ryder, & Brooklyn), her parents (Brent &Diane Mears), her brothers Chris Mears, Brian Mears (Melissa), Brandon Mears (Alisha), Danny Mears (Kristi), and sister Ashley Mears sister-in-law Stephanie Mears, & 11 Neices & Nephews.
