Landon Christopher Hansen

Nov. 14, 1981 ~ June 29, 2013
Our sweet tenderhearted son, brother, husband, uncle and friend passed away early Saturday morning in his sleep. Landon will be remembered for his generosity, kindness, wonderful sense of humor, and love of others.
Landon was born in Provo Utah to the late Laurie Mitchell Hansen and Scott Winston Hansen. Landon attended high school at Mountain View High School, graduating in 2000. He attended UVSC for a year and then served a full time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Landon is a talented young man; his quick wit, wonderful smile, unyielding concern for others will be missed. Landon loved all sports but especially golf and basketball. He spent as much time as he could camping and hiking throughout the mountains of central Utah. He enjoyed the beauty of nature so much. He loved his family and always looked forward to holding, tickling and playing with his 10 nieces and nephews.
On April 26 2013 Landon married the love of his life, Abigail Airheart Hansen and they had begun their life together living in Orem Utah. Abigail was a wonderful wife, companion and friend.
Landon struggled for many years with the dreadful and destructive disease of addiction. He wanted so much to escape its powerful influence and fought with a brave heart and mighty resolve to build a life absent of it effects. For this, we who love him most, honor him and express our great love for him. We will miss him everyday…
Landon Christopher was preceded in death by his mother, Laurie Mitchell Hansen.
He is survived by his wife, Abigail, his father Scott, step mother Lori, brothers Tyler and Travis, (LaRee) twin sisters Heather Stroshine (Scott) and Hollie Rosen (Kevin), and step sisters Karly Turner (Ted) and Sarah Ngatuvai (Sione) and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A private family funeral service will be held. The Walker-Sanderson Mortuary will make arrangements for the interment in the Orem City Cemetery in Orem, Utah.
