Pamela was born in St. George Utah, to Elmer Squire and Viola Jameson Pickett. After graduating from Dixie High-school and Dixie Junior College, she served in the Western States Mission. Pamela graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Business Administration. After nearly a decade of teaching she finished her professional life working for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Family History Department.
Pamela was an exemplary woman considered by all who knew her throughout her life to be a wonderful friend, daughter, sister, cousin, and aunt. More than this she was an especially extraordinary mother and grandmother. Throughout her entire life she was devoted to her love of music and would sing the hymns of her faith with a certain sweetness and affection. She has gone home to be greeted by loved ones who had gone before and by her Heavenly Father.
Pamela is survived by her children, Isaac and George Riddle; her step-children, Joseph, Brigham, Heber, John, David Riddle, and Cassandra Sanford; her brothers, Garth, Bruce, Kevin, Brian and Vaughn Pickett; her sisters, Jeanene Benson, Micheline Alldredge and Lisa Jennings; her step-mother, Bernice Pickett, and her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Jeri Pickett, and her youngest son, Spencer Riddle.
Services will be held Friday, May 4, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at the LDS church located at 3707 South 800 West in Bountiful, Utah. Family and friends may call Friday, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. prior to services at the Chapel. Interment will be held at the St. George City Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2012.
