Akayla Zoe Ferguson "Our Little Ladybug" With deep sadness we announce the death of our daughter, Akayla Zoe Ferguson. Born Jan. 11, 09 to Lance Stapley Ferguson and Angela Kay Jacobsen Ferguson. Died Jan. 18, 11. We will miss our little Ladybug more than words can describe. We will miss Mom's little shadow, her smile, shoulder bounce with music, and more. Survived by siblings Carter, Isabella, Aurora, and Jaada. Grandparents, William and Sherri Ferguson, L. Mark and Debbie Jacobsen, and great grandparents, Scott Flandro and Alice Jacobsen. We do not know why God took our Ladybug back home, but we know that she is in his kind embrace. We are grateful for the tender mercies of the Lord and his helping hands of family, friends, all emergency aid, and unknown angels. Services Tuesday Jan. 25, 11 LDS chapel 8680 S 220 E, Sandy, UT. Viewing from 10:00 to 11:45, Funeral service 12:00. Burial at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 South Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah. Donations accepted, any Wells Fargo in Akayla's name. Services by Memorial Estates Mortuary.

When I saw this story on the news a few weeks ago and they mentioned the address--I was afraid it was your family. I moved out of the ward five years ago but I will always remember Angie Ferguson! You inspired me by your kindness and thoughtfulness. I'm very sorry to hear of your daughter's passing. I pray you will find peace and feel the love of the Savior in the weeks and months to come.

What a beautiful memorial service Akayla had! We are so blessed to have gotten to know your family through Cub Scouts. We enjoyed having Akayla around for Pack Meetings, and have many fond memories of her.

I cried when I saw the news report, then cried even more when I found out it was you. Believe me when I say that I share your pain. My little man died almost 4 years ago in the same kind of accident. Alot of people will say that they understand, but I really do! I am so sorry. Some day we'll have answers, till then, have faith that we'll have them again. Even though I do not know you or your family. Ever since I heard of the passing of your little one my heart has been aching for you. We never do know why certain things happen in this life. We are often told that these things shall give thee experience. I pray with all of my heart that you will turn to the Lord for his hand to be with you always.
