Robert Lawrence (Larry) Royce passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by loved ones, on May 29, 2016.
Larry was born on February 6, 1946 in Salt Lake City, UT to his parents, Howard Parker Royce and Elaine Lillian (Sneddon) Royce. He married his sweetheart, Patricia Ann Job in 1968. He was employed and retired from the Newspaper Agency Corporation as a Journeyman Printer after 29 years. He then worked for Johnson Control in building maintenance for over 7 years.
Larry was an avid NASCAR fan. He enjoyed tinkering around the house and spending time with his family.
Larry is survived by his wife, Patty Royce; his daughter, Leisha Ann Aguilar-Ekstrom and son-in-law, Craig Robert Ekstrom; his son, Robert Jared Royce and daughter-in-law, Natalie Ann Royce; and nine grandchildren, Alec, Brooke, C.J., Kayla, Elaina, Isaac, Zachary, Carter and Aaliyah. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Alexander and Lillian Sneddon; his father, Bob Royce; his mother, Elaine Royce; and his brother, Ronald Royce.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 3, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple. Friends and family may call one hour prior to service.

Dear Patty and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I remember the days (before children) of living in the same apartment building on Downington Avenue and playing cards to all hours of the night, eating boxed macaroni and cheese because that's all we had and much more. Such fond memories. Please know my thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

I remember playing baseball as a kid with Uncle Larry,Ray and my cousins Jared and Brett at a family reunion. We really had a good time. Larry was such a kind and gentle person. Never outspoken but always appreciated and loved. I always remember him being there for his family. I truly good father and husband. The Bacher family sends their love to Patty, Jared and family and also Leishas family.
