I cannot begin to tell you how much I love and appreciate the wonderful Renn Robinson and the profound influence that he had upon a pimple-faced rebellious teenager that was pretty tough to love! Renn reached out to me and became a great mentor. He showed me by his words and actions what it means to be a true disciple of Jesus Christ. He was so giving of his time and his means to create fond memories for the young men that he served. I will always treasure the time that I spent learning from this amazing man! I have laughed with him and cried with him as we have shared some life-changing experiences together. The world would surely be a much better place if there were more real men like Renn Robinson!

Lana, Stan, Bethany, Josie & Cody; I'm so very heartbroken for all of you and your family. I didn't know him as well as I wish I had but what I do know is that he helped raise one of the most beautiful women I have ever been lucky enough to know, love and call my family. I hope the love all of your family shares helps ease the pain. I love each of you very much.

I remember going on a 13 mile hiking in Star Valley with family and Uncle Renn was there. Near the end of the hike we got separated from the rest of group. My cousin Kristen and I would ask Uncle Renn when the hike would be over, "15 minutes" was his first answer. Then "30 minutes", "1 mile", "2 miles". Each time we asked the time, or the distance, got longer. For some reason, that got us through the hike. I will never forget that hike and how he drove us on, never giving up and never slowing down. He stayed with us girls till the end and helped us to finish. My cousin and I laugh about that experience, however since then he has become such an example to me.Thank you Uncle Renn, for being an amazing example of never giving up and always pushing forward.

Today I lost one of my HEROES! I would like to say I walked beside him, but in reality he walked beside me to guide and nuture me. To direct me and help me understand what it meant to become a man. I could never put into words how much it means to me to call Renn my friend, my mentor, my HERO!
Every society needs heroes. And every society has them. The reason we don't often see them is because we don't bother to look.
There are two kinds of heroes. Heroes who shine in the face of great adversity, who perform an amazing feat in a difficult situation. And heroes who live among us, who do their work unceremoniously, unnoticed by many of us, but who make a difference in the lives of others.
Heroes are selfless people who perform extraordinary acts. The mark of heroes is not necessarily the result of their action, but what they are willing to do for others and for their chosen cause. Even if they fail, their determination lives on for others to follow. The glory lies not in the achievement, but in the sacrifice.

Donna and Family...so sad when I read of the passing of Renn. I truly loved him as a brother and I will always have special memories of the times that we spent together, whether it be in Church, out having dinner or checking out the final inspection of a huge power line that his company had completed. He was a great man and truly could be called " a Dear Friend". May Heavenly Father bless all of you as you continue your path in mortality with him not being there.
Best regards and much love,
