Julia Josephs Obituary

Julia Sheya Josephs "Judy"  Julia "Judy" Sheya Josephs, 94, of Salt Lake City, died March 16, 2003. She was born November 27, 1908 in Helper, Utah to James and Alma Sheya. She married Abe A. Josephs on Oct- ober 16, 1937. He preceded her in death on April 11, 1991. She resided in San Francisco where she worked for Kansas City Life Insurance. She moved to Phoenix where she and her husband owned and operated Central Dental Lab. She worked for the Republican Party for many years in Phoenix. Upon retiring, moved to Salt Lake City to be near her family. She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church. She enjoyed the many friendships she had living at the Graystone Arms Condominiums. She was one of nine children. She is survived by four sisters, Roseline Sheya of Salt Lake City, Isabel Sheya of Salt Lake City, Edna Sheya Higgins of La Grande, Oregon, and Ruth (Joseph) Howa of Salt Lake City. And many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. A rosary and vigil service will be held Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 1975 South 2300 East. A funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday at 10:30 a.m. also at the church. Committal: Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 4th Avenue and T Street. Funeral Directors: Neil O'Donnell and Sons.
