Elaine Miller Howes 1922 ~ 2010 Our loving mother, Elaine Miller Howes, 87, of American Fork, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2010 in Cedar Hills, Utah.She was born January 21, 1922 in Heber City, Utah to John Henry and Cora Danielson Miller. She married Ray Howes in Phoenix, Arizona and their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple. They were the proud parents of a daughter and two sons, Curt, Susan, and Gary. Ray passed away December 10, 2006. Survived by her two sons, Curt (DeLana) of Salt Lake City; and Gary R. (Rae) Howes of Saratoga Springs; 13 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; one great-great- grandchild; and her sister Marilyn Hansen of American Fork. Preceded in death by her husband, Ray, daughter, Susan, daughter-in-law Kay, two brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will be held Monday, Jan. 11, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the American Fork 21st Ward, 261 North 900 East. Visitations will be Sunday evening from 6 to 8:00 p.m. at the Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 E. 100 N., American Fork and Monday at the church from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services.
