It's impossible to imagine anyone who had a greater effect on the kids of Box Elder County during the 60's and 70's. Coach Dunn was not only dedicated to Football and Track but also ran the Junior Olympics track meets, which were a blast. He was a public servant in every sense. He also told a good joke. RIP Coach and sincere condolences to family.

It is impossible to imagine any person that had a greater effect on a generation of kids growing up in Box Elder County in the 60's and 70's. Coach Dunn was not only the Football and Track Coach, but he also ran the parks and recreation track meets, which attracted kids from all over the county. It was a blast! He was a devoted public servant. He also told a good joke. RIP Coach. Sincere condolences to the family.

In 1965 I began my 41 years of coaching and it stated with Les Dunn. He was a great coach and a mentor to me as he started me out. I coached Gary and Mike. Great players. I thank Les for everything he did for me. Great coach and individual. Gary C. Gardner

I remember Les coming to my Mom when my Dad died and asking if he could play "My Buddy" at the burial at thecemetary. It was such a meaningful tribute. Les was a beautiful man and if you were lucky enough to be his friend, you knew you would have a forever friend! He will be missed. Sending love and prayers to Marion and the family.

Coach was tough, disciplined, and a builder of character. He also displayed great love for his players and his sport. So many of us are so fortunate to have played for Coach Dunn. I still smell "Football in the Air" when the cool autumn evenings come around, and think of him.
Thanks Coach!
