ANGIE LINDQUIST Obituary

Angie Lindquist 1962 ~ 2011 I, Angie Lindquist, came into this world on October 7, 1962 and left unexpectedly on March 7, 2011 to go to my spiritual beach. I wish it had been because of too much football, TV, swimming, music, or ice cream. But when its time its time. I have to say I have few regrets and I lived my life my way. I hope to meet up with people I've loved. I grew up in Utah, Colorado, and Seattle. I had some great parents, especially my mom and best friend, Barbara Stroud, and my dads, Michael Lindquist, Sr. and Cal Stroud. Also most special to me were my sister, Julie Lockhart, and my brother, Michael Lindquist, Jr. and since 1999 I have loved and lived with my partner, Audrey Sharpsteen. I was so fortunate to have such loving and supportive friends and relatives. Thank you so much for allowing me to learn and grow with you and be me. Know that I shall always love you. I will always be looking over all of you. You will feel my presence with you. You will always remember the many great memories we made. At first I played by the rules, then I grew into a lovable rebel that enjoyed loving, sharing and helping other people. A celebration of the memories of my life will take place at The Children's Christian School, 3138 West 7000 South, West Jordan, Utah, on Monday, March 14, 2011, from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. And remember, no flowers - maybe a donation to OFDC (Opportunity Fund for Developing Countries), Susan G Komen for the Cure or the ASPCA. Enjoy every day as if there's no tomorrow. Remember, "Don't be sad, don't be blue, I may be better off than you."

I so enjoyed all the time we spent together. I' ll miss and always treasure our talks and our laughs. Banana bread from Audrey, your gentle nature and the good bye bear hug. Fridays may no longer be the same, but your memory will always live in my heart.

We used to enjoy sharing "meow meow" jokes, and we could laugh in the parking lot after work.

Angie gave in death as she did in life. Many will benefit from your generous donation of organs to promote a better life for others. You did just that in life Angie; you gave of yourself to all. You were an advocate for the underdog, a non-judgemental friend to all and a damn good co-worker. Thanks from all the people you helped that may not have a voice now and from all the people who love and miss you. May your garden be plentiful this year so you can continue to nurture Audrey and others.

To Barbara and all of Angie's loved ones, We are so sorry for your loss. Barb, I know how precious your "angel" is to you. She loves you more than life itself. Ang is one of a kind. She has a heart of gold and a gift for being fair without judging. I will miss my friend very much...our chats, many private jokes, and the laughs we shared. She will always be with us. May you all find comfort in your memories at this sad time. Rest in peace Ang, and feel free to keep visiting me.
Love always, Mars and Ryan
