Anne Wyroa Garfield Kay, born to Mary Irene Clayson and William Henry Garfield 28 February 1920 Mona, Utah.
She died of natural causes 05 August 2012 9:00 P.M. Riverton, Utah, at the home of son Newell DeWayne Kay and daughter-in-law Patricia Ann Coleman Kay, where she has resided for the past 5 years.
Her life has been one of dedicated service to her family. She served 24/7 for most of her life in taking care of her daughter Beverlee and husband Newell. Beverlee, due to health needs and Newell because of his sometimes crazy hours and her great love for both of them. No matter what hour Dad left or returned home there was a hot meal awaiting him.
She loved life. She so enjoyed her old friends from Juab High, Nephi. She loved the reunions up until she could no longer attend. She and Dad were high school sweet hearts and were so dependent on each other until Dad's passing in 1985. They were the epitome of the old style marriage, the man earned the living and the woman stayed home and took care of that. Mom was an excellent housekeeper and caregiver. She served her family and her church as requested…Primary in her early years and Relief Society in the mid to latter years.
She will be sorely missed by her son, daughter-in-law, four grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren, two sisters, extended family and friends.
Thanks to the gentle caregivers from Haven Health Care Hospice for their great service over these past months. Their comforting acts of love are much appreciated.
