Anthony Barber Obituary
1971 ~ 2012
Anthony L. Barber passed away Nov. 15, 2012. He was born June 21, 1971 to Albert and Sharleen Barber. Tony was everyone's best friend. He was a man whose word and values were as strong and true as his drive to care for the ones he loved. He was an adventurer and lived life to the fullest. Tony married the love of his life, Merissa Lacy, and together they explored the deserts and mountains of Utah. He loved the outdoors, camping, dirt biking, snowboarding, and the Eagles. He was an adrenaline junkie. Tony was a natural leader. He was a rising star for Nucor excelling professionally as he did in life. He had a kind heart, a beautiful spirit, and a wonderful smile. Kids and animals adored Tony and he loved them. He was generous, loving, and had a great sense of humor. Tony was a human encyclopedia and was a great story teller. He was never at a loss for words. Tony we will always love and cherish you. Survived by his wife; Mother, Sharleen Barber; Second parents, Jim and Suzanne Lacy; nieces and nephews, Caden, Gavin, Emma, Nate, Noah, Angie, and Damon; and siblings Gina, Les, Steve, and Jimi. Preceded in death by Albert A. Barber. Celebrate Tony's life on November 20th at 11AM at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive.
