Our condolences for the loss of your loved one. As time moves on and we get closer to the day when we will pass through the veil, we become more grateful for our associations and our knowledge of the gospel. As Pres. Marion G. Romney once said, "Don't worry about getting old. Get old, get dead, and get on with it". It's still no easier to say goodbye to those we love. Unfortunately, we did not know Brother Tate, but our experiences with Leon and Sherman through music are precious to us. May God bless and comfort you all.

I was sorry to hear of Burton's passing. I got to be his friend through church and the Swanee Singers. He was a wonderful person and I will miss him. May the Lord's blessings and comfort be with you in this time of sorrow. How wonderful it is to know we will be reunited with him in our next estate.

We wish our deepest sympathies to the Tate family and to let you know that we will miss our favorite whistling Burt! He used to drive for the NAC (Newspaper Agency Corporation) and whenever things looked gloomy, he was always cheerful and whistling or singing good tunes. Rest in peace, Burt! May God continue to Bless the Tate family! Families are forever!

We think the world of the Tate family. We express our deepest sympathy to Sister Tate, the Tate Children and grandchildren.

Burton as well as all of the Tate family are truly a great example to everyone. It is great to know as we all continue in their example of living the Gospel of Jesus Christ, that families will be together forever!
