Caleb Hills Case Obituary
1990 ~ 2012
Caleb Hills Case, Beloved Son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend, passed away at age 22 on December 9, 2012.
He was born in Quincy, WA, on Independence Day, 1990, and our family's 4th of July celebrations will never be the same. Caleb was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was very bright and tender-hearted. As a child, he loved Legos, Pokeman, swimming and playing baseball. He learned to love reading, and spent hours devouring science-fiction/fantasy books. He especially loved Tolkien and Star Wars. He was a gifted and creative artist, became a very talented drummer, and developed amazing keyboarding skills. Caleb was very generous and giving. He had a tremendous sense of humor and loved to make his siblings and friends laugh. He loved dogs and absolutely adored little children. Kind and loving, he always had a hug and smile for everyone. Caleb fought valiantly through some difficult personal struggles in this life, and though he succumbed in a moment of despair, we know that he finally has some peace. His loving Heavenly Father will safeguard him now. We know we shall see him again, and look forward to embracing him once more.
He is survived by his parents, Ron and Sharise; his sisters, Kiri, Calli and Katie (whose life he saved when she was three), and his favorite little brother, Coleman; grandparents, Steve and Sandra (Omi) Case, and Mark and Annette Orton; 19 Aunts and Uncles, 48 Cousins, and countless friends who love him and will miss him so very, very much.
Services will be Saturday, December 15, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS Chapel at 4137 W. Foxview Dr. (11535 S.), in South Jordan, UT. Friends may visit at the church, Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at Elysian Burial Gardens. Words cannot express the gratitude we feel for the tremendous outpouring of support and beautiful expressions of love we have received from family, friends, neighbors and our incredible Ward family. Your prayers on our behalf have been answered. Please share with us, online, your happy memories of him.
