David Calvin Cragun 1974 ~ 2006 David Calvin Cragun, beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend, passed away unexpectedly March 20, 2006 at his home with his constant companion Willow at his side. He was much loved and will be greatly missed. David was born October 2, 1974 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Calvin and Celestia Van Tussenbroek Cragun. He lived in Salt Lake all his life and graduated from Valley High as the class valedictorian, an honor of which he was most proud. David had a talent for music and writing and expressed himself wonderfully through them. He loved his sisters and their families. His nieces and nephews called him Uncle Santa Claus. He was a great support to his parents in loving his younger brother. David had a special relationship with him and they shared a love of WWE Smackdown. David was so tender and patient with his brother and Robbie loved David deeply. David had recently returned to college in pursuit of attaining a nursing degree. He loved the Chill Program at Benchmark and enjoyed taking the clients snowboarding each week. He wanted to make a difference in their lives. David was a loyal friend to everyone. He went out of his way to help others and often put their desires before his own. The family would like to thank David's friends who have been such a support to him. Please email to [email protected] David is survived by his parents, his sisters Marlayn (Russ) Shreeve, Cari (Randy) Bobo, his brother Robbie and his nieces and nephews. He is also survived by several aunts and uncles who loved him, his dog Willow and his cat Jamison. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Adrianus and Fern Van Tussenbroek and Wallace and Vivian Cragun. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 25, 2006, 1:00 p.m. at the Cannon Mortuary, 2460 Bengal Blvd. Friends may call Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Cannon Mortuary and Sat. prior to the funeral from 12:00 to 12:45 p.m.
