Dorothy Texas McCall Brown

Dorothy was born in El Paso, Texas. She married Sam Brown and they were later divorced. She was a single mother to her three boys, working hard to provide security to them always.
She joined the WAC during WWII. She received her Master's Degree at the Catholic University in Washington D.C. in Library Science. She was a professional Librarian for the Salt Lake County Library, retiring after 20 years.
Dorothy was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had compassion for all animals-especially dogs, and had up to 20 at one time.
She had many friends who adored her and will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her sons, Sean, Kevin and Brian.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, November 10, 2018, at 2:30 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S. State Street, Murray, Utah, with a viewing from 1:30-2:15 p.m. Interment: Salt Lake City Cemetery. For condolences and an extended obituary, visit www.jenkins-soffe.com.
