Jonathan Cracroft Obituary
7/29/73 ~ 12/3/11
Our dearest husband, father, son and brother, Jonathan W. Cracroft, 38, was called Home December 3, 2011. Born July 29, 1973 in SLC to Dave and Sharon Cracroft. Graduate of Granger High and SLCC. Jon married his best friend and eternal companion, Brandie Wilkin, in the Salt Lake City Temple, July 25, 1998. Jon is the beloved father to Zachary (19), Kylie (14), Alexie (8) and Corbin (4). Jon's greatest joy and pleasures came from his family and he worked hard to provide for them. Jon was an active member in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and he served in many capacities. Jon enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and softball, and he loved the Detroit Lions! We are all truly blessed to have had Jon in our lives.
Jon leaves behind his parents, wife, children and his siblings, Arleen (Jon) Spence, Kenneth (Judy) Hart, Bryan (Elizabeth) Cracroft, and Debbie (Quinton) Bennion. We know Jon is having a special and joyous reunion with his sister, Brenda Hart Bailey, his grandparents, and other loved ones who have passed through the veil before him.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 9, 2011, 11:00 a.m., at the LDS Church, 5424 West Rosecrest Road (13400 South), Herriman, Utah. Viewings will be Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Friday 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the LDS Church. Interment will follow the services at Valley View Memorial Park (4335 West 4100 South).
In lieu of flowers an account has been set-up for the benefit of Brandie and her children at any Zions Bank or America First Credit Union location under the name of Jonathan W. Cracroft Donation Account.

I am deeply sorry to hear about John. He was the nicest person I ever met. When I played Softball with him these past couple of years. Brandi, I am so sorry about Jon. I was very sad to hear what had happened and have been thinking about you and the kids since then. Jon truly was the best uncle anyone could ask for! He was always there whenever i needed him he always was the first person to come and pick up y son and play with him! Dear Sharon, Dave and Family,
Our hearts go out to you in the loss of Jon. He was one of my Bear Cub Scouts and I always loved him. We are so sad for his tragic loss and want to send our love and sympathy to you all. The one thought that I feel must sustain you is, like his Obituary said, he was greeted and engulfed in love by Brenda!
