JULENE ANDERSON Obituary
Julene Marie Campbell Anderson 1939 ~ 2011 Julene Marie Anderson, our loving mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed peacefully away in her home surrounded by her loving family on June 15, 2011. Julene was born on July 29, 1939 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Clyde William Campbell and Audrey Duke Campbell. Julene was the second of five children and had many fond memories of growing up in South Bountiful. She had the opportunity to attend Springfield High School in Illinois, Boise High, and Bountiful High where she graduated. Following high school Julene moved back to Boise in order to attend Boise Jr. College. It was here that she met her sweetheart, Kay Anderson. They were married and sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on November 28, 1958. They were blessed with four children. Julene loved her family and loved serving in the church. As an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints she had the opportunity to serve as a temple worker, Primary President, Young Women's President and counselor, Relief Society counselor, visiting teacher, and a teacher in each of these auxiliaries. She spent her life in service to her family and others leaving her family with a legacy of service. In addition to her church service, she served as a member of the PTA multiple times throughout her child-ren's school years. She also was a strong supporter of Kay as President of the CPA Ladies' Auxiliary and a member of LaSertoma and an officer in Philomathean service clubs. She loved crafts of any kind, particularly sewing, painting, and stitching. She enjoyed reading and working in the garden. She loved family reunions, spending time with her grandchildren, and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed the time she spent working at Bountiful High School and the Davis County Health Department. Julene was preceded in death by her loving husband, Kay L. Anderson, her parents and her brother, David Campbell. She is survived by her children, Sheryl Anderson; Jeff (Saundra) Anderson; Lori (Ron) Beckstrand; Jill (Robert) Talbot; 14 grandchildren, Lindsey (Preston), Justine (Josh), Talon (Nicole), Shaelyn, Mikall, Logan, Chase, Tara (Karl), Ryan, Garen, Sadie, Trent, Megan, and McKay, and five great-grand-children Emma, Ella, Grace, Landon, and Adalyn who will miss their Gawk; and her siblings Linda (Leonard) Eversole; Joel (Linda) Campbell; Kay (Terry) Hansen; and Nancy Campbell. The family would like to thank all those in Julene's dinner group and Plan B group who have loved and supported her throughout the years. We also wish to thank Russon Brothers Mortuary for their tender service on behalf of this great lady. We also express our gratitude to the the Huntsman Center, Dr. Glenn and her staff, Rocky Mountain Hospice, specifically Liz and Stephanie, who rendered tremendous care on Julene's behalf.
