Kami Lyn Williams

1976 - 2018 Obituary Condolences
Kami Lyn Williams
Beloved Wife and Mother
Kami Lyn Williams (Jacobsen) passed away on June 7, 2018, unexpectedly at home in West Valley City, Utah at the young age of 41. Kami was born to Dennis Jacobsen (Maryann) and Kaylene Ball on August 25, 1976, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She graduated from Granger High School and married the love of her life and soulmate, Jason Williams on November 24, 1995. Though they have been together for over 25 years, they still acted like teenagers deeply in love. Kami and Jason completed their loving family with the addition of their kids; Jason in 1993 and Nikki in 1996.
Kami worked nearly 15 years with Intermountain Healthcare as a Medical Assistant, specializing in Pediatrics. Her work wasn't just work, she loved it and she was truly loved in return. She always made sure that all of her coworkers felt like family and often her patient's felt the same way, knowing her by name. Many babies she tended to are now grown and still come in to pay her visits. We want you all to know that she kept every card, note and picture you sent her. She cherished you.
Kami is remembered for her teasing, sneaky grin, love for the Dallas Cowboys, George Jones the musician, and anything outdoors.
Kami will be missed dearly by all who know her and have faith that we will be reunited again, but for now she leaves behind her father, Dennis and stepmother, Maryann; sisters, Christine Jacobsen Duncan, Brandy (Mike) Gill and Kristina Tucker; brothers, Brandon (Carol) Jacobsen, Bryce (Crystal) Jacobsen, Keith (Rachel) Jacobsen, and Robert (Kirsten) Werner. She will be missed most of all by her children, Jason "Boby" Williams and Nikki Williams; and by her doting husband, Jason Williams.
Kami's Celebration is Wednesday, June 13, 2018, from 6-8 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street, Murray, Utah.
