Obituary Condolences

Lawrence Martin Brown Jr. Obituary
Lawrence Martin Brown, Jr. "The best journey always takes us home." Larry went home to his Heavenly Father on March 2, 2010. Larry, Jr., was born May 16th, 1953 to Lawrence Martin Brown Sr. and Marilyn Allred Brown. He graduated from Murray High School in 1971 and won the Spirit Award for 'the student who did the most for the school'. A beloved Son, Brother, Father and Grandfather, Uncle and Friend, he shall be greatly missed. Larry had a magic about him that touched hearts and brought out the best in people. Family was everything to him and it showed in every aspect of his life. Whether on the ranch he so loved in Henefer, fishing on any river at any time or riding tall in the saddle, a smile was always visible. Larry Jr., worked hard while living in Huntington Beach, CA in Property Management and was at the top of his field when his sickness told him to slow down and pay attention to what really mattered to him, family and living life. He came home to Utah and surrounded himself with family. Larry Jr., taught so many about enjoying everything big or small through all of his pain and discomfort. He is our Hero. Larry Jr. is survived by daughters Brittany (Neil) Barney and Ashley (Jeremy) Reedy; sisters Julianne 'Dusty' Smith, Sherri (Terry) Christiansen, Robyn (Craig) Anderson and brothers Scott (Traci) Brown and Brett (Brooke) Brown; his parents, Lawrence Martin Sr. and Marilyn Brown. His grandchildren, Larry's biggest treasure will truly miss their cowboy grandpa - Gregor, Chadd, Durham, Brady and Cooper Barney; Logan Reedy and granddaughter Lindon Brown A viewing will be held at the Ridgecreek LDS Ward, 5735 S Fashion Blvd, Murray on Sunday, March 7th from 6 -8 pm and Monday from 10-11. A short service will follow. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates. Services under the direction of Holladay-Brown Funeral Home (801-754-3692).
