We served in St. Thomas when you were in St. Croix and though we met only once or twice we do want to offer our condolences at Elder Wilde's passing.

Dear Camille and family: It's been such a long time since we've seen you but Marylyn and I (Barbara) were so very sorry to hear about Reed's passing. What a wonderful life he's lived and such a great legacy left. Marylyn is living down in Mesquite, NV for most of the time and I'm still here in Maryland. Thinking of you all in Croydon reminds us so much of our dear parents and your friends, Eva and Jim Wild. We have such fond memories of our first visit to America and the wonderful welcome. We're grateful for the way our families came together and for the everlasting friendship. We're thinking of you at this sad time and know that you'll be comforted by the sweet gospel truths. Our love to all.

Sonya and I were so sorry to hear of Uncle Reed's passing too late to attend the viewing or the funeral. We have many fond memories of visits to 'the ranch' in Croydon and cattle branding in McKinnon, Wyoming. We remember feeding the lambs, playing the old record player at Granpa Wildes and looking through Great Grandmother's keepsakes kept just as she left them in their home. We especially loved attending the Wilde Family Reunions and seeing our cousins. Uncle Reed was always so kind and loving to our Grandmother, Althea and our Mom, Verla. Please know of our love, our thoughts and prayers for your family.

I was shocked to learn of Reed's passing. Penny and I are serving a service mission in Seattle, Washington, teaching institute classes. We would be to the funeral if we were able.
Much love to you, Camille, and to all your family. At times like this the Gospel is certainly the anchor we all need.
